About the Author

Carolyn King is a retired teacher who taught elementary education, and English Language Development (ELD) at the elementary, middle school, and adult level. Her career also included working in the airline travel industry, which allowed her to communicate, to travel, and to experience cultural diversity.

She received a B.A. Degree  in Elementary Education and Urban Studies at the City University of New York and a Master of Science degree in Education and a Graduate Certificate in English as a Second Language at Johns Hopkins University.

 Carolyn is married, and has two daughters and three grandchildren. With the love of reading, writing, and traveling, Carolyn was inspired to write children’s stories, in a fictional genre depicting their life’s experiences, challenges, and accomplishments. Children are intuitive, resilient, creative, and bring joy to so many of us. She hopes to share those wonderful attributes through her books.
