Peety Moany and the Latchkey Kid Activities and Worksheets
Peety Moany is a delightful, heartwarming story about a young girl’s encounter with a praying mantis. The praying mantis becomes a friend to Christina and helps her feel secure and safe while being home alone for a couple of hours until her parents arrive from work.
Activities and instructional materials are provided as a follow-up for the story. The objectives of the activities and worksheets are to summarize, reinforce, and analyze comprehension of the story. The worksheets and activities provide interaction, creativity, and the opportunity to enjoy learning in an informal setting while providing instructional skills that are necessary for academic achievement and success.
